If you're at this page, you'll probably already know all about giffgaff's great deals. So you want to use giffgaff when you come to visit UK? Good call :) Here's the situation:

giffgaff SIMs are not widely available at UK retailers, and giffgaff themselves do not send SIM cards to non-UK addresses. In order to tackle this problem, some giffgaff members, such as myself, are willing to send SIM cards abroad to those who ask.

Why am I providing this service free of charge?
Good question.
I am an active participant of giffgaff's member-get-member scheme, whereby I get £5 from giffgaff for everybody I introduce to giffgaff, and every new customer I introduce (yourself in this case!) also gets £5 extra credit free with their first top-up as a reward for accepting my recommendation. It's that simple!

As my own time and expense is spent in fulfilling overseas orders, I'd appreciate it if you only order if you are seriously considering joining giffgaff.

giffgaff SIMs need to be 'activated' before they can be used. Activation is done online and requires a top up via either a payment card or top-up voucher.

Unfortunately, giffgaff do not currently accept non-UK cards, and obtaining a top-up voucher from outside the UK can be difficult.

If you add a voucher to your order, there is no need to send any money until AFTER you have received your SIM. If you are not sure about what to do, simply leave the box unchecked and let me know once you have made your mind up.
